Getting Involved & Supporting SPC
Time & Talents
Time is a sought after commodity and we have a world that pulls us in about a hundred different directions. We have work, school, family, friends, hobbies, and everything else under the sun.
Yet, God calls us to take time, to serve God by serving the church through the talents and gifts that God has given you. We encourage you, whether your gift is in teaching, preaching, pastoral care, a trade, IT, etc. - to please get in contact with us and use those gifts to benefit God's community here at SPC and the community we serve.
Supporting SPC
Springfield Presbyterian Church, as a non-profit organization, thrives and relies on the generous gifts and offerings to continue its ministry. The word 'tithe' is often found in Scripture and it refers to 1/10th of your earnings per year. We, at Springfield, in humility and love, dedicate our funds to increasing the mission of Christ in the world by our witness, mission, and action.
Perhaps you already tithe or give at church, but a simple way to give is to sign up for Electronic Funds Transfers if that is more convenient for you. Contact us to sign up. Please note that all offerings are tax-deductible, as a non-profit organization.
